Dr. Kirk Nielson has been practicing orthodontics in the Denver area for more than 18 years. His interest in orthodontics began while he was in kindergarten, after seeing the improvement braces made on his sister’s teeth. Dr. Nielson loves creating beautiful smiles!
Dr. Nielson holds the following degrees:
B.S. in Economics, 1985, Brigham Young University
Doctorate in Dental Surgery, 1989, Creighton University
Masters and Orthodontic Certification, 1991, University of Oklahoma
Dr. Nielson also specializes in TMJ (Temporomandibular joint) disorders. He has published articles on orthodontia in various medical journals, including the American Journal of Orthodontics. He also lectures at local schools and youth organizations about dentistry and oral health.
